  • NM is one of the most important songwriters writing and performing in Australia at the moment. He has written three absolute anthems.

    1 - White Fella/Black Fella

    2 - My Island Home

3 - Calm and Crystal Clear

Could commercial radio please start acknowledging this bloke. He is too good to ignore.

  • Too country for commercial radio and not country enough, or should I say "american enough" for australian country stations.

  • @wildwood66 dude he did not write my island home

  • Neil wrote "My Island Home" when he was in the Warumpi Band.

  • wow first to comment!!

Great song and how about the accordian!!

I've been looking for this song a while. Thanks for posting it.

  • No worries. I have a few different gigs of Neil's so some more clips might pop up soon.

Accordion player is John Bedggood. Check him out. He does work with Lior, Bernard Fanning, Carus, and many more.

  • I can never work out why this bloke isn't idolised the way Paul Kelly or John Williamson are. He's certainly of their calibre.
