  • but thats not life, is it? just staying the same age forever. (: people are meant to move on, and thats what the author was trying to get through. that you might meet someone who loves you more than words can say, but life has to move on, even if it means you don't get the boy. its sad; but its life! and life is wonderful.

  • question ; does she fall in love with jessie in the book?

  • @lll513x Well, sort of. In the book, she was 11 and Jessie proposed to her, saying that when she was 17 like her, she could drink from the sprong and join him. I don't know if it was love but she definitely LIKED him a lot.

  • I would make the choice she did too. To live on earth forever? No. Heaven.....would be sooooooo much better

  • I love this movie<3 aand the book<3

  • eu adoraria se este filme fosse em portugues

  • @lll513x Yes she does. You probably already know cause your comment was 2 years ago...

  • @lll513x Well its really weird. Winnie is 11 in the book. And Jesse kept trying to get her to drink the water. She didnt....But you could say she liked him, even though it was never really mentioned in the book. And instead of Jesse coming to town, Mae and Tuck(his name is Tuck Tuck :P) did. And i dont know if this happened in the movie but instead of drinking the water Winnie poured it on a toad. Because like i said shes only 11.

  • Its sort of like the Secret Garden, but sexier!

  • @lll513x In a way. She WAS only ten, so there wasn't any big romance. When she first met him, it stated that she lost her heart though and he did propose. It's difficult to say. You'd have to read the book

  • @foxiao thank you i have been saying that for the longest time and no one agrees with me
