@krydsewa - Are you REALLY serious? UTM being compared to us? Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
abahahahahahahha!!!! GTFOH!!! #CocaineIsAHELLOfADrug!! -
Two years later and this show still stands out as one of the best of any HBCU. It doesn't take 300 plus musicians to produce an impressive surround sound. The sound throughout the show is simply massive to say the least.

@aristocratify Very Tru!!!

Man you gotta shorten the title on this clip. It is hard as hell to find. Take the date out and put vs SU 09 or something. It would have over 11,000 hits.

Dude, this is a damn good show. Even if you don't like TnSU there is practically no denying this show. Why isn't every show this energetic from you guys? First time seeing this and I am impressed. To the dude that keeps saying Whitehaven is better. Anybody that knows me, knows I love the Haven; but executing well on 1 ballad, in 1 show doesn't put you on that level. The haven is a tremendous heavy hitter in the high school circuit, but be real.

@djunior2011. Bruh, Clearly your ears are decieving you. Marching is alot more than cranking and hitting a bunch of high notes. If you loisten to the tone quality of TSU, and our musical selection. that's what makes them good. What is there not to like about them.

@04AirForce dude i feel your opinion but thats just my opinion & my band director at lithonia high school went to tsu & im sorry but i DONT NOT LIKE TSU band cause they suck to me & alot alumni band members from lithonia up there too
-
@djunior2011 just to let you kno man Whitehaven has nothing on TENN ST. This is coming from a alumni of Redan High School and a member of TENN ST band. You need to get your musiciality up sir. TSU band is mostly made up of both Redan High and Whitehaven High, and both incoming student become better when they get to TSU........stating facts bro.
I nominate this show as the Show of The Year for the 2009 -2010 haft-time season. If anyone can,with all seriousness and objectivity, nominate a more complete and competitive show, please direct me to the proper video clip. The variety of music, the near perfect transition in different tempos and the consistent sound projection leads one to listen to this video clip with relentless repetition. Vintage HBCU performance! I see why in 1956 an NFL announcer called them The Aristocrats of Bands.

The TSU fans and critics are some of the toughest of all HBCU bands but when you witness the sight, sound, and sheer performance of this band, you can't help but be impressed. The Aristocrats struggle to maintain its band support simply because the TSU band staff refuses to inflate there size to that of FAMU. Sometimes size does matter but it should never trump hard work and quality musicianship. Pound for Pound, the Aristocrats never sit at the back of the bus, we drive the bus.
