It seems like anything was possible back then. Not like today when everything is controlled by corporations. TV networks don't take risks anymore so all the content is extremely controlled. Hey its Tovac from star trek. HAHA!

i gotta say it fun the idea of convoy meets airwolf, and the transformation effect very very nice (this + robot jox, needed CGI to make transformers movie my foot)., but bugs me that he has to leave most of the truck behind..... it not like it becomes a chinook or coast guard helicopyer, so the trailer then carried by the cargo winch. he just flys way. plus the cab obviously a helicopter. but this what love bout 80s IMAGINATION & experimentation
