Silver Lining is fully licensed and approved with German Oldenburg Verband and North American Division of Verband der Zuchter es Oldenburger Pferdes e.V., and Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International.

Silver Lining earned very respectable 100 day test scores including a 9 for walk and 8s for Character, Temperament, General Jumping, Canter, and Rideability with an overall score of 115.41 and placing him 13th of 44 participants.

While being shown under the names Silver Lining, Landwerder, and Liszt, Silver Lining competed very successfully in sport and was the Reserve Champion of the International Jumper Futurity finals. Silver Lining had a successful start in the jumper ring under Rob Gage and Francie Steinwedell before migrating to the dressage ring in 1995. He began his dressage career with Charlotte Bredahl Baker and then, ridden by Katherine Bateson Chandler, he mastered the Grand Prix movements showing with scores to 65.897% at Intermediare I. In 2006, Silver Creek Farms reintroduced Silver Lining to the hunter/jumper ring where he was Reserve Champion of his division.

    I would love to see some pictures (and video too) of your mare!! I have two foals coming by Landwerder next spring, and I'm hoping for fillies!!! We have shipped our own stallions, but I have never shipped into the state for one of my own mares before. Everyone at Silver Creek Sport Horses (where he stands now) were really wonderful through the whole process and BOTH mares took on the first try!!! Have you thought of breeding your mare?

  • My dads Micheal Healy he said he knows you. he said that Debbie Scoots files on Kate were lost so we have to wait till Christmas. He also said that he will try to email that picture of Landwerder and Chuck as soon as he gets a copy. Its nice to meet you though. She is in foal to a stallion called Rousseau, she is due June 14th I think.
