A year later in the Macy's Parade, I was one of those people wearing a heart marching alongside the Care Bears float.

I was 9. It doesn't matter though. I hated it and still hate it.

I will never live this down. I was 8 at the time and didn't have friends much since I worked all the time. I'm 33 now and view this as one of the most terrible times as a little boy. My mother made me do this.

Check my user name to see the 1986 one. I think it's better but unfortunately it cuts out in the middle.

Yeah I know it's terrible but I think it's one of those it's so bad it's funny videos. The song she sings is "I Wanna Be A Carebear". First sung in the special "The Care Bears Battle The Freeze Machine". For some reason the last few seconds are cut off but she is saying: "I just wanna be a care bear". The song itself is good and sounded great in the show but Ms Engels sings it badly. PS On a side note Engels was the voice of Love a Lot bear in the first care bears movie.
