http://www.robnunnphoto.com/ This is a great starter flash for anyone who wants to learn and master on and off-camera flash. The Nissin has a bounce / swivel head, is compatible with ettl, and can operate as a slave for digital and older film cameras.

The di622 mk.2 can operate in fully manual and automatic modes, is built very well and is a pleasure to use.
