simple to do really, hard to do right. Do Thunder Bullet(IIRC) Say it is O, now quickly press /\ after you press O for TB. You must be standing near some kind of map marker, any one will do a wall, etc.

TB>O>[](Or repeat TB or another similar move), kinda easy

simply>Press TB>/\ over and over again as fast as you can nar a map marker. YOU WILL GET IT TO WORk just not everytime it takes skill to do it everytime.

Well it is a cool trick, but it seems kinda cheap and makes Squall kinda broken....

Not really with the degree of difficulty combined with how it depends on the next action, makes it very difficult. Not counting it isnt very useful with an opponent that is fast and brutal like jecht, or OK would demolish through the attack and hit Squall.

Think about it, using jecht finger would make jecht rush through the Thunder Bullets and causing damage to squall no problem b/c they are focused on their TRICK. A trick is all it is and nothing more it doesnt really improve him.

On a scale to one to ten on how much it improved squall as a character i give it an ONE. Show me a player who can abuse/use the move to their advantage against a cautious player. I stand far away he cant hit me with it, i can stand somewhere where there are no map markers and well the trick is no more, or engage him in air combat and well its like it was never found out.

@mongecyo9tails Indeed. When you stagger them, and follow up with Beat Fang, that really f***s them up.

Not only that, his Rough Divide can smash through pretty much all projectile attacks, even HP ones. Terra's Meltdown, Gabranth's Innocence, they don't stand a chance.

Squall is just plain awesome.

Squall actually has a lot of hidden properties that not many people pay attention to.

For example, his Heel Crush was revamped in the North American version. It makes an opponent stagger if it is blocked, making it good for pressuring opponents. Not only that, but the arc it makes when it is first triggered (before the actual damaging strike is made) can actually reflect magical brave attacks, making it an excellent counter-attack for people like Terra and Kuja, etc.

you can do this without being close to a marker. I also play Squall as my main and you cant abuse this move like he does here.

It makes Squall a little more enjoyable to play :)
