Marlee Matlin was awarded the Media Advocacy Award today during the Welcome Ceremony. She was unable to attend and Linda Bove received the award on her behalf. Marlee sent a video to show during the Welcome Ceremony where she shares her passion for the NAD, advocacy, deaf rights, fighting for internet captioning, and her appreciation for everyone's hard work.
Congratulations, Marlee!

@herandaj Get one without asking your parents. They are narrowed mind people.

@ChenoCharmedColdCase .. WOW Hard to spell haha. :) But I have asked my parents to purchase the book for me, but they failed to do so in order that they do not want me reading the inappropriate misgivings she inserted into that autobiography. I'm sad to say so, but I can't read it, giving my parents' over protection. But thank you VERY much for recommending it. I very much appreciate :) Thanks!

Congratulations Marlee!! I'm so glad you had gotten that law passed and what an inspiration you are to me. You achieve many great things, and therefore, you ARE my role-model. I hope you can continue your achievements and set new goals! Yet I have many more years to set mine, considering that I am only 12. I want to be an actress also, because of you. I hope you continue a healthy, happy life, as well your children and husband too. Thank you Marlee. :)
