@AirbusA330Pilot If you mean USA, then they wern't. US Airways got their first A330 in early 2000 (N670UW), 3 years before Northwest.

Cool, it was leased from ILFC and used as a charter aircraft. The first scheduled carrier of the A330 was Air Canada in '99.

I used to flightplan this aircraft when it operated a summer season in the uk!! It was not ETOPS at the time!!!!
