  • if your dog is 100 yards away or more ,the whistle is the only method that they would hear my command ,this is the same problem with the clicker system. it is simply just one more method to have your pet recall to you . my dogs know verbal commands as well .

  • hey this is awesome man i got a lab and i need help teaching it to sit and stay any tips would be greatly appreciated

  • try to train 15 min in the morning and at night , each day if you can . it will pay off big ,no treats ,just praise and love . the book i used was waterdog ,richard a wolters .old school but i think it is the best .. for me it was the best money i EVER spent ..i have 2 labs , they are finished now ..i will soon video my lab heeling backwards .. he is so good at times .. enjoy the dog training .,very rewarding ,but taxing as well .... take care ..
