Raw Food: "Where do you get your protein?" It's such a common question, especially for vegetarians, vegans and raw foodists. In spite of the fact that some of the world's largest and strongest animals are vegetarian; like gorillas, elephants, buffalo and horses, many people still wonder how it's possible to thrive on fruits and vegetables. In this episode, Jenna Norwood interviews raw food author and expert David Wolfe about some of the best sources of protein. You may be surprised what you'll learn from this cutting-edge health researcher.

    * Spirulina didn't feed mexico city for thousands of years. It's first recorded in the 16th century and was eaten by some people, but didn't "feed the city"

  • People keep talking about vitamin b-12. Two things: 1. your body needs micrograms of b-12 (do you have any idea how tiny a microgram is? Go look it up) 2. Your body RECYCLES b-12, so the daily allowance is (or rather should be) regarded as different than other essential vitamins. If your a vegan, you don't much b-12. And if your not vegan, you still not much b-12.
