Its been a whole year since Firu was dragged behind a truck. His wounds are healed, and he has the perfect life with his rescuer; Samantha Hodge

I cried watching this. The people who did this, drunk or not, should be punished to the highest degree, and one day they will burn for this. That is my only comfort. That and that Firu now has a loving home!

if it wasn't this it could easily have been some kid they ran into or a family wiped out!! there are NO excuses for drunk driving!! i don't feel sorry at all for any drunk driver being injured or killed! its like playing russian roulette with other peoples (and animals) lives!!!

@AqueousSerpentes It IS illegal to get behind the wheel of a car or truck if you're drunk, so what they did IS illegal.

There is a saying That there are no bad dogs just bad owners.
i have sat watching Firu's story & cannot believe that 2
so called human beings could do that to an animal. There is not enough space on this site to put down how i feel. The people that carried out the act should be taken to a vet to be PUT DOWN they are not fit to breath the same air as me. What a big softie FIRU is & so trusting God bless you Samantha i hope firu gives you many years of happyness.
