Baling some of the first cutting with a John Deere 4020 on a 348 baler and a 4430 on the rake

  • Looks like a big field. How many bales did you make out of it?

  • That was only part of the field. We only cut a little bit of it because of the weather. There was about 7 acres there and we got 1000 bales off of it

  • What gear do you run in when you are baling?

  • I was running in second gear there because there were 2 windrows raked together in that round, with the single ones i could run in 4th. The tonnage was so heavy this time, i just couldn't that fast

  • Yes it is its a higher capacity baler

  • we just got our new baler delivered today and its a 348 watching that it looks like its going to go well and have u had any mechanical probs yet
