  • hey man. love hearin that banjo ring and a lot for a fellow north carlinian. and you do a mighty fine job. i play mandolin in a group from lexington,nc. its near the farmpark in denton. i saw that you also have been there. we have a farmall and a ford red belly. well would love to hear from ya. maybe come down and play with us sometime.

  • maybe so how long ya been pickin and whats the name of your band?

  • Is this tune difficult to play?

  • I don't thinks it very difficult, if you tried to get it down to the exact notes n everything that Ralph used then yes it might be.

  • I Would like to play it one day. Thank you.

  • you need to start dipping if you already dont. lol. it would fit yaah buddy.

  • @chevy0215 Im learning this clawhammer style. aren't the "too many notes" bit the "Backstep" part. As far as im aware there should be the weird extra half bar in the second part.

    Nice playing BTW

  • nice souding banjo but do something about your timing No one can pick with you if your timing is that bad. No No don't tell me it is because your hat is too tight...J.K.

  • Play it your own way and don't think twicw about what anyone else says! Good job on all of your videos

  • @IHCBanjo ive been playing guitar and base for about 2 years and mandolin for about a year and a half. Were kind of a new group. dont have a name yet.

  • you sound great man, just a couple problems, your timing is off your putting in too many notes in places.

    keep practicing you'll get it.

and to answer your question bellow, yes it is possible to play it with out a capo, it just sounds a little different

  • is there way to play it w/o the capo??????
