I am reading 11/22/63 too, and Jake AKA George gets to see Doug play for real back in 1961 or so, what a freeking book! Wish I could go back and see him too, he was just great! RIP Doug.

I love this song! Thank you for sharing. I read 11/23/63 by Stephen King and the protagonist was at a sock hop while The Knights played. Which member of The Sir Doglas Quintet is Doug Sahm...the lead singer? Thanks in advance! :- )
