TyTN II (Kaiser) Video Drivers Problem Test

umm....no...
have you not read up on xda?
or the qualcomm website?
before the kaiser was released it claimed it could handle video playback up to 30fps VGA.
It was supposed to handle games at a fast speed as well.
when the kaiser was released and people noticed the lack of drivers, they removed all of this info from the website.
I would atleast thing a BUISNESS device is capable of loading the icons in the start menu without lag, or being able to scroll in Internet explorer.

Gotta partly agree with that, but some games work quite fine.

And this is a very expensive phone too. And there customer service is mediocre at best.

whoa first kaiser video! i like the comparisons youve done, hopefully something will be done about this soon. reading up on xda there has been some customer support mentioning an update. and if you pay attention, now more and more customer support have replyed saying they've realized the situation exists.

hehe yep :) on some its a little hard to tell the difference, it is evident when youre using it, but youtube compression makes them both look ok! thank you! i'll make some more, i have Quake III running on it!! hahaha!! yeah i've called HTC up, and am going to again in a few days :)

Pretty annoying bug for games, thankfully it doesn't affect much more than games though. (I can't think of any real time dependent apps that need constant touchscreen input?)

yeah unfortunately its marketed as a Business phone and not for games! so for normal use its fine, just for media stuff which is what i want to use it for it lacks, hopefully should be fixed! if not its still an awesome device! =P

The touchscreen bug affects all apps though, it's just so much more obvious in games.
Same with the other bugs (media playback and such)

yeah thats true! for less intensive apps it doesnt matter that 40% of the cpu is gone, but for stuff thats already using a lot of the processor it really affects it =/
