Created for Tec^Edge: Summer at the Edge, 2010, in partnership with the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), Wright Brothers Institute (WBI), and Wright State University (WSU).

Originally an Ascending Technologies GmbH. research drone, our team converted it to computer control through an XBee remote serial link. Intended as a platform for aerial reconnaissance, OpenCV haar training for facial recognition/tracking and attitude control loops for fully autonomous flight are still under development. Work was presented at the National Aerospace & Electronics Conference (NAECON) 2010.

All communications programming was done in C#, utilizing DirectX libraries for serial access. All facial recognition was performed in C++, using modified OpenCV libraries for haar training.

Many thanks to James, Lydia, Ryan, and Alex. Princess says hello.
