Didn't the socialists slip into 2 camps post-WWI (fabian and nationalists)? They were certainly in cahoots with one another (or so I understand).

With regard to the Nazi party, I.G. Farben, Union Bank of America, and Union Oil spring to mind; the postwar ERP under the Marshall Plan was merely a form of economic US imperialism. I'll have to do some more digging on this one (I know Churchill was selling the idea of communist Russia as a threat to Western "democracy").
