  • Hi, I have Sonar 8 and when I try to render it or use the export functions it works. But when I listen to the Exported/rendered version on Windows Media Player I hear "hisss" noises and lots of distortion. So how do I make the exported/rendered version sound perfectly cleat? Even the Source file sounds distorted after exporting or rendering it. Please help me out.

  • @kavdhi When You get to the rendering part.. Select 44K, 16bit NOT 24bit!! what is your dithering set at?

  • I have never been able to get beatscape to work, i have installed the disc, but i when i bring up sonar i have no way to access or use beatscape............. any suggestions.

  • @homicidalpoet Did you install both discs? the first disc should be Beatscape and the second is Beatscape content? then go to your synth rack and call up Beatscape (it should appear there)

  • I did what you have explained here, but for some reason the measure will skip a midi note from measure to measure, so you get a hit then silence eventhough it has a note showing, then hit on the next note, so it maybe like the beat will drop out rather than play continuously from note to note, it seems very annoying to me, though I am using 8.3 but I think it maybe the same version of beatscape as yours.

  • @econogate Yes.. That is a problem that many people get.. However most people forget to change from auto loop to manual play inside beatscape.. if you chang eto manual play then it will pick up from note to note.. Auto loop will loop the original 8 bar pattern of the kick snare, whatever.. regardless of the input notes in the step sequencer
