At the Kissimmee, Florida Amtrak station, late amtrak # 97 stops to load & unload passengers then takes off towrads Miami. This train has up to 30 mniutes of time to make up if it is late. Can someone let me know if this is the star or meteor and the # please?

  • that's the silver STAR

  • The only problem with this k5LA is the bells. the #5, the k-1, the #2 bell, and the 3A and 4A. Most of the time bells 2, 5, and 4A are sounding. But towards the end, it blew correctly. The 4A bell and the 3A bell were having some problems. Come to think of it, amtrak 97 always has a horn problem XD.

  • Silver Meteor always has 3 sleepers in its consist, Silver Star only has 2 sleepers

  • Well, that's not the wierdest Silver Service horn. I was on the S/B Silver Meteor and its horn sounded like a ship!!! I'm serious! Nice video by the way. 5*****

  • Great video! This could have been the Silver Meteor, but it all depends on what time and date this was taken.

  • This would not have been train 98 if it was southbound
