I think you got your primes mixed up... when I tried to do this with what you have written it didn't work out. However the formula below does work, when r' means rotating the face 90 degrees up, and l' means rotating the face 90 degrees up. r means rotating the face 90 down and l means rotating the face 90 degrees down...
