I can trashpick some boxes myself and crush a can with my foot anyways. It doesn't seem like that'll make it much easier...

Cute vid--not much more than that. Would VERY much like to see investigation done into nanosolar tech, as well as vids on the first consumer products put out by the principles involved.

Unless you didn't notice, she crushes cans with a foot not electricity. Unless you trying to conversve your calories, this still qualifies "green"

I am having a hard time understanding how this is a green innovation. Don't normal people just put their recycling into bins? I see that it is crushing the cans and what not, but how is that a benefit to the environment, since it uses energy?

We encourage products that can help you be more environmentally responsible. You are correct in that the product itself is not "green". What we have found though, is that it enables you too organize and reduce the volume of our recyclables, sort of like a mini recycling station. One step at a time :-)
