You do realize that we could listen in without breaking the law right? It's called a warrant and it's not that hard to get if you need it. Listening without one is unconstitutional. Therefore it's breaking the law.

Obama is his candidate. I feel safer already!

Once again the Turk doesn't know what he's talking about! PLEASE TURK! Tell your viewers what laws were broken??? BE SPECIFIC!
The fact is that the terrorists from other countries are using American networks and servers to mask their communication. IDIOTS LIKE YOU LET THEM DO IT! That's why we need FISA! You don't know what you're talking about.

I wish someone on the Right would stand up and say, hey, this isn't what Rand, Friedman and the Consitution says. C'mon guys, you've been calling us weak and spineless forever. Stand up for your party, freedom-lovers!!

Look at history. The fall of every great Democracy starts exactly like this. A few freedoms and principles infringed amount for the sake of "safety". 30 years down the road you are living in police state. AKA the United States of China. How far is too far. How much is too much. I really want to know where people on the right would draw the line?

With all this corrupt motherfuckers in office, it sounds like we the people need to start a revolutionary war 2 against our own government.

After a while of thinking about it, SparklestheClown is right. We've been having hissy-fits over what the Republicans are doing and what the Democrats are not doing...
Those who filed their taxes might get over $300 dollars back from the government. (Maybe Wush had pulled the biggest "bait-and-switch" ever.)
Compared to most of the world's governments, a bunch of them merely being "tribes with flags," we're still doing pretty well. Bad economic times be damned.

If you think we have it bad, try to live in a number of nations across the globe which are not free - China, Russia(reverting), N. Korea, many African nations, many South American Nations, some Mid-Eastern Nations, Iran, Saudi Arabia, on and on - They are amassing armies, intel, technology, nuclear, etc., at rapid rates. They spy and steal from us all the time. Why in the heck don't you go there, and quit complaining about our nation, which you allseem to bash ridiculously too much SHAME on U!
The Democrats to the Republicans; "Oops, I'm sorry. Did my face hit your fist? What can I do to make it up to you?"
Karl Rove was right when he said it didn't matter if the Democrats took over on '06. The Republicans still get what they want, with under a 20% approval from the people.
Who's dick do I have to suck to get some democracy here?

It's very discouraging. It seems as if there are always enough spineless Dems that it's possible for this the most notoriously unpopular and criminal administration to simply get away with everything.
The bill not only gives telecoms retrospective but prospective immunity. In other words for whatever they do in the future. Could it be any worse?
