@Tobacc0 After accepting help from the U.S. in overthrowing Batista, Castro decided it would be a good idea to nationalize the sugar industry by stealing both plantations and factories from U.S. manufacturers like Imperial Sugar. Cuba then turned their back on the U.S. and cozied up to Russia right in the midst of the cold war. Castro then decided it would be a good idea to allow the Russias to place ballistic missiles in Cuba, 90 miles of the U.S. shore. Don't poke the bear.

@TheArmo1 and you are a better person for it i assume?

I've spent a lot of time in Cuba and one thing I've learned is that Cubans are amazingly innovative and creative -- to the point that it's nearly unbelievable. I swear, you could probably give a Cuban a piece of wood, some loose wires and a light bulb and he'd be able to make you a computer -- complete with Internet access!!!
