Be led by Mount Dora "historian" Dieter Torquemada to different downtown "tavern" locations to try libations associated with stories of Mount Dora's prohibition era. Choose from the cocktail tour or the beer and wine tour. www.TourMountDora.com

  • Losing the train and the boat show was politics. This is a promo for a COMEDY show based on hokey Mt Dora "history" with cocktails along the way. The tour was created to introduce visitors to different downtown businesses and I applaud the creator for helping to stimulate tourism in the town . If you watch closely, no one is trashed...and the gal at the end is faking to drink a bottle of hot sauce. BTW, I personally LOVE Tavares. Its a great town with lots to do and a beautiful waterfront park

  • "Its really a damn shame, the steam train is gone! For the life of me, I will never see why that happened even though a couple miles of track needed to be fixed." I also miss the Vintage Boat show on Lake Dora and Hosted by The Lakside Inn. Its not the same in Taveres! Great to see Mount Dorans getting trashed.. but if you are selling this event as a Historic Tour, then Film a Short Doc on the History of Lake County and booze! JV-Filmmaker-Apopka

  • Dieter Torquemada saved my life! Turnbuckle is weird! This is the craziest!
