I've been caught up in a few things... K-Star competition in China (they flew me over there for a kung fu star competition/shaolin temple training), then I got caught up in classes, training, short films, gigs, etc... but as promised to limejello10512 here is a sample of some tkd.

  • I have balance issues and I was wondering if you have any suggestions as how to stay balanced when u throw a kick. I almost always worry that im going to fall when I try to even attempt a some what high kick. Is it all about flexability or am I missing something?

  • 1. your pants make everything look epic lol

    2. if sparring you seem to be more of a leg person; don't forget you have elbows, knees, fist

    3. for you try this combo on both sides; begin with what every leg is comfortable first i'll say left leg because it was in the video. With the left leg forward, lead leg double pump round house Jump switch round house, with the right foot with right foot in front double pump side kick (rib and face) left elbow to chin( p.s own your stands)

  • @yumioh You have very good knee postion on your front (chambered) leg. The only improvement you need to make is with your back(supporting) foot. It should be pointed straight back when you kick where as yours is pointed sideways still. True kicking power comes from the PIVOT of the hips and back foot (on the ball of your foot). This is same for side, round or hook kick as you use the same chambered kicking position for all three. Your opponent never knows which kick is coming.
