The moon is just over 1 light SECOND away (250 thousand miles)

The Sun is 93 million miles away (8 light MINUTES).

Pluto is around about 10 light HOURS away.

The nearest star to the sun is 4.3 light YEARS away.

The other side of our galaxy is about 75,000 light YEARS away.

The next galaxy to ours is 2 MILLION light years away.

The farthest galaxies photographed by mankind are (or were, because the Universe has expanded a lot since then) 9-11 BILLION light years away, or, if you prefer miles...9,000,000,000 x 6,000,000,000,000 (9 billion times 6 trillion miles).

It's a long way by camel.

Their belief is so superficial and that's why it's easy to shake and even destroy. They place the foundations of what they believe in a fallible man written book (proved false by the WORLD), that reflects nothing more that man's perception of the universe and a god created in man's image. The god of the bible is more human than anything. It is a sad pathetic state when you find yourself either believing in the universe, or in a book written during the bronze age. Very sad and pathetic indeed.
