  • I love the story !!! I can see the pros and cons of exporting goods overseas as in Mohokoi's point of view .. to hold on to what he had been taught by his elders vs. the new generations with their ideals .. in the end the guy that exported his taro ended up asking for assistance !!! how ironic !!

  • Thanks for this awesome video, hope there is more to come! Malo Tonga! Ofa Lahi Atu ki ho'o tau ki'i motu!

  • Hands up to this short film. I'm a young Samoan living in America. Most polys I know don't understand the value of life especially in our cultures. It begins with new beginnings and ends with greed depending on how strong/weak the mind is. Malo Vake!! 'apa i'a over pisupo any day!

  • malie fau e fo'i fa'u ni...'e lava ke fa'u mo ha fo'i faiva ki he to hina?...malie kau tama...good job!!!

  • verry good short film i like the setting what i though it looked like a 3rd world country :P and the plot structure:)

  • @samoantoa08 mama'o atu can mean a few things. 1) the more common current usage of this phrase refers to being "far away". 2) may refer to those whom passed away 3) some tongan elders use this term as the Samoans do, to mean "long ago" -so there

  • Why is the Corned Beef so damn expensive in Tonga. Tongan currency and Fijis currency exchange is about the same, but in Fiji Corned beef cost around 2.99 to 3.10 but its 7bucks in Tonga...dang!!!!

  • like captain cook said, almost not even one inch of land was wasted, farming is a big thing in tonga, and ma moms dad is always in the farm working the land, to bad ma dad was from vava'u........fangota allday chhheeeheeee
