A narrative short film stressing the importance of communication in life. Originally written for and intended to be a spoken word piece. At some point in late 2004, the concept of putting visuals to the spoken word emerged, thereby transforming it into a narrative short. This was never intended to be a visual piece, and it shows. All the footage was acquired in less than 3 weeks, with a multitude of locations and environments. There were also conflicts, setbacks, and alterations that had to be made. Editing didn't begin until 4-5 months later, and at that point it was rushed. The visuals should've been a bit more dynamic and less literal, but the message was most crucial to me. Maybe there will be a Communicate II...??? The audio was something in the works for the SILT project, so I reworked a 'video version' to conform to the duration.
