My 1995 240sx with SR20DET (engine) doing laps at Autobahn Country Club South course. Part of a SCCA PDX on 5/28/2010. I was on street tires and using this for practice for the Redline Time Attack for the RWD street class.

  • @Muckyerbarn. Thanks! SR engine was stock. Non stock items are 550cc injectors, z32 MAF, freddy intake runner, FMIC, and T28 turbo from the S15. At the time it was making 296hp to the wheels at 15psi. Suspension is Buddy Club RSDs and tires were Kumo XS 255/40/17s. I do have bigger front brakes from the Q45 (rotors & calipers).

  • nice laps but you could wait a little more to down shift and heel toe downshift will help engine and synchro life

  • @tapion123

Maybe it doesn't translate in the video but all shifts are heel toe. I picked up 5 seconds a lap two weeks after this video in the Redline Time Attack. Mostly by just braking much later. Ended up winning RWD street class. I also have no anti lock brakes so I do rely on some engine braking for fast laps.

  • Hope I can provide some soon. Looks like I need a new head gasket and probably more :( Overheated doing full course at this track. Stupid mistake, I was checking the power steering lines for leaks and forgot to secure them. They got in the fans and stopped them from running. Next thing you know 250 degree water temps.

  • very clean driving man ! whats all done to that sr and what kind of a suspension/tire setup was on at the time ?

  • nice drivin dude. i subscribed. i want to see more

  • Keep hands at 3 & 9 position, not 1:30 & 10:30. And don't death grip the wheel, stay relaxed! Looks like you downshifted too early in a few of the turns too, don't do that if you want your engine to survive. Otherwise, some nice driving!

  • haha i like that. u finally get a point by and just wave.

  • i found out that expensive "sports" cars didnt like getting passed by 4 bangers that day. good job, nice lines! cant wait to go back there

  • Finally a point by and you still wave thanks! :)
