Pete's not bothered about the recession, but then, unlike most of us, he can fly...
Every now and then you meet a character who is genuinely larger than life. Hang glider pilot Pete Attley is one of them. Here's a short tribute to dedication, to escape, to the beautiful english countryside, and most of all, to hang gliding.
This short film is the first in my 'obsessed by sport' series (more to come, watch this space).
I'm a freelance cameraman and editor, the series is a personal project aimed at filling downtime, generating ideas and getting outdoors. Each short film is shot, edited and graded in 2 days.
Great video. A small group of pilots from my club hope to come up and fly hang gliders soon It will be my first time, I'm even more excited about coming up to fly Long Mynd after your video, if thats possible. Might see you soon.

Ditto, nice pleasant HG video, more a-tune to most pilots than the drama and full-on stuff usually posted. It is exciting but its also mellow and relaxing, taking away your other concerns, its definitely spiritual too.

Absolutely great fantastic motivational video! Congrats. Cool editing, great footage, great message. Only tiny thing: the music in the second part, hm.... you might want to think about that again.

Well made video and nice to see Pete still as enthusiastic as ever - the only HG pilot I know with vetrigo!

I've expressed the same exact sentiments as Pete. It's an addictive sport. Wonderful video.

Great videography!! Love the vignette with the balloons caught in the side wires that break loose after the pilot dives it. Very cool!
