Again, I'm not claiming any conspiracy or supernatural intervention. SMH All I'm saying is that they may be connected INDIRECTLY. As an example, maybe some event in another part of the solar system has caused the frequency of these two events to increase for a temporary period of time (perhaps a disturbance in the Ort Cloud or Asteroid belt). That would make the two events related, though in an indirect way that would not be readily calculable from simple geometric calculations. C'mon NASA?

If the objects came from different directions and hit at different times (which means that they are quite distant from each other), then what other connection could they have?

I'm not suggesting anything other than it's far more likely that the two events are connected somehow than they are not, so the burden of proof lies on Nasa to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they are not. Saying that the two objects came from two different directions only eliminates ONE possible connection. As scientists, they should exhaust EVERY possible connection before declaring fact. This could take a day, a week, or even years, but certainly not a few hours.
