Love Is Dead || Eight

Episode Eight.
(Nick)
Her expression was cold and hard. But that's how its supposed to be right? Just like all of these blood suckers. I miss Demi and her weirdo expressions. Its better than nothing at all. She bares her teeth at me, glaring. Whoops, I forgot. She could hear my thoughts.

Demi:what do you want Nick?
Nick:nothing. i knew you felt down from yesterday so i just wanted to see if you were fine.
Demi:f. y. i. im always down, okay? and if your gonna see how i am, you should do it without insulting my family.
Nick:okay. im sorry.

I said it rolling my eyes. It was pretty obvious and I tend to keep it that way. I could care less for the Crudheads. I mean, Cullens. Haha. Oh, I'm so funny. Wrong move. Demi was upset with me now.

Demi:Nick, just forget it. i have to talk with Bella and Edward about.. things. please just go.

She was hiding something. Of course, Demi was different now, but I still had the ability to sense if something was wrong. I wish I could do that reading minds thing too. But I figured I should respect Demi's choice. I give her a silent nod and slip my large hands into my front pockets as I leave the premises.

(Demi)
I shake my head at Nick's behaviour and approach the others. Edward is the first to look at me. His eyes were full of emotion. Sadness. Conern? No, worry. He knew something but I had a feeling he wouldn't tell me.

Demi:did you tell them?
Selena:*nods* yes.
Demi:Ed- *shakes her head* dad.. what is it?
Edward:Demi, honey..
Demi:please. i just.. i need some god damn answers. i need to know. *her jaw clenches* is he.. alive?
Edward:*takes her hand in hers* Demi.. you miss him. *looks at Selena then at everyone else* we all do.

I knew that this would happen. He won't tell me. I take my hand back, a little to aggresively. Just another desperate theory. A failed desperate theory. This isn't fair. I feel like they were all against me. Joe was the only one on my side and he was gone. They knew something. Was I not important enough to know?

Bella:of course not, Demi. please dont think that.
Demi:you know something. *looks at Edward* and for some reason.. your holding back.

I run off, my feet leading me to an unknown destenation. I hated it when they did that. They make it obvious that they can read my mind. Joe never did that, even if he did know what I was thinking. Especially when I was human. He knew it made me feel like an outsider to his kind. And now that I was part of their kind, I still feel that way. Why? Joe was gone..

[[That Night]]
Bella:why cant we tell her?
Edward:*sighs* i wont do that to her, Bells. never. i dont want to hurt her more. i wont get her hopes up and crush them all together.
Bella:*places her hand on his* maybe you wont have to.
Edward:no. *pulls away, sighing* just no. having Joseph gone is destroying her.
Bella:which gives you more the reason to tell her.
Edward:*shakes his head* no..

(Demi)
I walk past the kitchen knowing they won't say more and make my way up the stairs. I walk into our room and find Selena sitting there. She opens her arms and I welcome them. She whispers something in my ear.

Selena:he told me to come here.
