On November 5th, 2008, Barack Obama is poised to become the next president of the United States of America. He also would become the first African-American president in the history of the country. Whether you love him or hate him, it's hard to deny the historical significance of our first black president. One must admire how far our country has come since the civil rights era.

MLK was a great Republican Conservative just as Lincoln was. He was of great character unlike the Socialists that march to defile his name today. He was a Christian above all else, believed in Freedom and Equality for all people, even the unborn as they were the future of America. Today his name is paraded around by a party of people who do not honor his values or his legacy but instead use his efforts to further their agenda to enslave the black race on entitlement government programs.

i think its good to get optimistic but we as a community have to fix our issues. black people historically have a tendency to throw all their eggs in one basket behind one person to save us and then they die and we're stuck.
