  • intel cares about one thing, money, same with microsoft. has intel EVER tried to help out others, NO, they just make a high end product and make you pay an arm and a leg.

These company's go to AMD because they are cheap, yet still provide the best of the best for them. Has intel ever been linked together to make a supercomputer, yeah, did that ever accomplish anything for others, NO. AMD is going to be the future. WORD.

  • Kraken is some kind of national institute for computational sciences. If you thought your PC was bad ass this would blow you out of this universe.

  • in 10 years my phone will be just as powerful

  • @SolidArch 1. proof? i read a lot of tech blogs and have never seen this (granted it depends how long ago it was signed) and 2. give to who? the company that hosts the kraken super computer? or someone else?

  • @bastec666 bill gates along with others have signed this contract to give 95% of their wealth when they die.

  • I think everybody has to remember we don't want AMD to compete with Intel gigahertz for gigahertz or overall Processor prices will rise trust me AMD would rater like to be selling the Phenom 940 or 960 at $600, not $185, asthat way they make more of a profit margin.

  • Capitalism powers the development technological advance... Too bad it comes with A LOT of consequences.

  • @ya64

Then im going to buy PowerPC.

  • Watched this because I have a Phenom II X3 720 and think it rocks. 8 gig of ddr3 = my own little super computer Thanx AMD.

  • It is amusing what these vids keep implying about the difficulties with the competitor (intel). I wonder if it is possible to go from dual core processors to 6 or 8 cores procs on an intel platform without gutting the motherboard at least two or three times?

  • one of those motherboards with the 3 hexcore cpu euals serious gaming rig id the hexcores weren't 2000 dollars or higher and theyre sic core that they will realease to the public will be better then intels if intel makes a 6 core cpu 32nm

  • well, if you were the only company on the market wouldn't you take the opportunity to make more money?
