  • @qman66 or like 1.

  • I think Girardi will do a good job as manager because he is a breath of fresh air from Torre, whose playoff performance fell off after the Red Sox came back from 3 games to none to win the series in the ALCS.

  • seems like an intelligent, quality guy.

  • I think O'neil would make a good hitting and or bench coach.

  • I agree. We can win without Arod, we can win without Matsui. Matsui is a rally killer, he only hits when we're either winning 10 nothing or losing 10 nothing. Thurman Munson, Roy White, Mickey Rivers, Chambliss now those guys were clutch. Oh, How can I forget Reggie!

  • They won 4 championships without him

  • first off.... I was not refering to the 2007 Yankees team. I was pointing out our golden years in the late 90's, ok guy! the teams that Giradi was on.Except the 2000 team. And yes thats all the 2007 Yankees relied this year just sitting around waiting for the big ball. Especially the ALDS series. And on that note the championship years up and down that line-up you had some clutch hitting also situational ball playing which will return w/ the Giradi takeova .... BX we out !!!

  • not a power team????? rofl, the yankees especially in 2007 had bad pitching and there werent many 1-0 or 2-1 games, the yankees do rely on power and they won a lot of games by a lot of points
