Not needed but wanting . Drippy Spring Reverb is a Hallmark of surf music. Hey I've played this since it was new. Fender & Premier used the same springs with transformer drive, just great but My opinion is that the Ampegs of mid 60's were even better with direct tube driven springs. BTW the whole Ventures Japan show is pretty exciting and the balance is great with no one mixing them .
@Phalanx3800 Yes that one is really live only down side is the fender amps they had were pre reverb models yet I suppose in that big theatre it sounded pretty wet.
