Wow... Call me a nerd, but I'm thinking of going to go buy a HD TV for the sole purpose of playing EVE on it (I don't watch tv much)
That would mean updating my pc too... Damn you CCP for making such an awesome game! Daaaaamn yooooouuuuu

Ah yes, the only thing I remember about EVE, fucking porting everywhere and never actually getting there. Fun times. Would have been a rival to WoW if it wasn't so hard to find new missions or agents, and you didn't have to travel an hour to get to a good rep one.

Just found this video...I have a 50" plasma tv and I can get video but my adapters don't transmit audio and I don't have a hdmi direct...poot.

u do realise ...what your looking at is exacly the same scale as looking at a 20" monitor no difrence whatsoever ,. im actualy planning on using a 32" tv when i get it in december but my point is bigger but no better ...just might as well do it for shits and giggles (looks good)

i do the saME THING

something about those stargate sounds is what made eve... eve... they nerfed the awesome gate sounds so it all sounds less awesome and mystical.. i wish they brought back the gate sounds as well as the visuals they got rid of... like the particle effects at stargates, or the de-materialisation effect it used to show (going from one end to the other) and then theres the cyno effect.... CCP... WHY DID YOU NERF ALL THE THINGS THAT MADE EVE AWESOME ??? D:

@DininDalael Then buy a huge monitor, not a tv.

Yep. after using my 47" I feel like I can't see anything when I try to playing on my laptop.

I tried running this game through Vista on my Samsung 42" LCD and it says :not supported mode" any ideas on how i can change this so i can play on my flatscreen? thx :)

Check the manual for your TV, it should have a table where it says it only supports certain refresh rates for certain resolutions. Probably only 60hz for the higher resolutions. You'll need to set this up in eve before you hook it to your tv

hmm, i guess you cant just hook up a tv screen to a computer... or can you?

If that TV screen has VGA or DVI in, you can.
