A heavy B-Side from the Vines, taken from their Ride EP (2004).

Lyrics:
Take in everything I see
Walking underground I've been
Waiting for the day to stop
But something's got me on the wall

Oh no! Don't go!
Through the world, I'm doin' pretty well/
And I'd know if she'd gone
Want to be left in this space now

Taking the weight up off your mind
Dreaming for the seventh time
If we wake now we'll believe
Even still it's fun to dream

(Repeat chorus)

  • The echo gives it that really haunting effect; The Vines rock.

  • sounds very ghostly like down a well or inside a sea side cavern in cold swallow waters. i wish the chorus would sound more thick more viscid. i'm sure thats what every fan wants on this song.

  • @STVCZU I like your comment. Yeah, this song inspires me depression and anxietty and it sounds like it comes from a distant world between life and death.

  • this song starts and end with everything!!! depression is the vines...

  • This song is sexy. The effects and the melody work together to make me feel high.

  • needs to be remastered

, the audio levels are fucked

  • What are you people talking about "this song would be better without the echo effect"? Are you stupid or what?

  • @HLGBluesterz It was.

  • @BCSide Everybody had The Vines demos at one point. They were all over the internet back in 2001

  • I reviewed The Vines' Deep Cuts EP as my latest music review. It's on my page if anyone's interested in knowing about more of The Vines' awesomeness.
