  • @bisbj Sure. Nothing says they have to be made available for trial. Nothing. They can be held until they die of old age.

  • @steve0281 If they were "prisoners of war" the Geneva Convention and other international treaties would apply to them, and these are treaties that the USA has ratified.

  • @Camilo19832001

    False

  • bush is the best presdent. stop hatin on him. why dont u guyzz let all the detainess suffer,

  • WHEN IS SOME1 GONNA KILL BUSH ..?

  • Not at all. That has never been the case in any war that the US had been involved in. These people were captured on the field of battle. Admittedly this is a tough one as they represent no country but an ideology. Ideology has been the cause of much conflict as of late.

  • @steve0281

you need a trial to prove that they are a prisoner of war.

  • Anyone remember the Japanese internment camps of Naturalized canadian citizens....Pearl Harbour was used as a nationalized fallen symbol similar to 911....why the lack of transparency if evidence is so overwhelming of those only suspected of "terrorism"?.

It only took the government half a century to apologize detaining innocent citizens and without trial.

  • The thing is the Constitution does not apply to prisoners of war. A prisoner of war is not entitled to a trial nor does his period of incarceration have any limit. He was not arrested by the FBI or any other US law enforcement entity. Even if he were, he could shoot them with impunity as they would be criminals acting well outside their jurisdiction.

  • please STOP torture and CLOSE Guantanamo
