Your review of Door Jamb Armor is inaccurate. DJA EZ doesn't require removing the door frame and its installation is the same as the "Steel Door Armor" product you mentioned previously.
DJA Ultimate, however, does require removal of the door jamb and a RECIPROCATING saw, to cut the nails that were used in the initial installtion of the door jamb. DJA Ultimate is a more secure product than both DJA EZ and your little "Steel Door Armor" product.

I am curious, but I can't watch this. Seems too slow. I'm not patient enough to watch it.. Doesn't introduce, show or explain in the beginning what the product is, what it's suppose to do and how it's suppose to do it.

I, for one, installed this product on ALL of my doors and the doors on my elderly mother's house. This product is superior to the other "armor" products because it reinforces several spots across the door system instead of just the jamb. I'm no rocket scientist, but the installation sure wasn't that difficult. Pop the trim off, use a reciprocating saw to cut the nails out of the way to allow the product to slide into place, fasten it in with screws, replace trim - piece of cake. Thanks!

@marrisasoto They can't get in if the door is locked. If the door is not locked, the burglar will have no problem either. Ever think of that?
If a fire is blocking window access, anybody in that room is already dead. The EMTs would just go to another window - unless you only have one in your house.
Following directions is the key. Just like cooking from a recipe. Sounds like you lack the discipline and comprehension skills of a 7th grader.
If you're so helpless, get a 2nd job and pay.
If this looks too difficult, you should really look at EZ Armor. It follows the same principal of securing the entire door but is MUCH easier to install. EZ Armor does not require trim removal or Both are made by Armor Concepts, the authority in door security.

what if they try a window?? I have a better idea to prevent a home invasion. A mossberg 12 gauge with 00 bucks :-)

Just make sure that your wife and kids know how to use it in the event that you are not home. It takes 10 seconds to kick-in a door. Is your 12-gauge loaded and ready for action at all times?
