talk about psychopaths. Alan moore is a fuckin' psychopath talkin about 'killin millions to save billions.' thats the easy way to get world peace, buddy. take the high road, and not the easy, short-cut way to an utopia.

poor rorschach but its true actually he kind of needed to die, he changes from the character who needs to be there because hes the last smart to stop Vites plan and beats up everyone to some kind of jesusu if you see it from some way, because he actually needed to die in order for humanity to be saved!

Pick up Alan's great new underground magazine Dodgem Logic, read it, loved it. It's got info on the underground itself, comedy, comics, illustrations and music. Can't beat that for under a fiver.

The superhero is a very American creation, so it made sense to set it in America.

maybe because the threat of nuclear warfare was between America and Russia.
And also maybe because Americans are crazy enough to dress up into skin tight lycra suits haha

because the story could not take place in the UK. Alan Moore intended to set Watchmen in a period of violence and tension like most super hero comics are. So it was his decision to put them in America during the time of the threat of nuclear war, the UK wasn't facing the threat of nuclear war at the time. It would have made some of Watchmen's themes immpossible.
