Hey I just restored the back case of my macintosh plus using a chemical process and looks like NEW!!!, I used your video tips to put out the back case of my Macintosh Plus before the restoration process. But now I'm afraid about how to disassemble the FRONT case of the computer. Could you please explain this step with a video?... thanks a lot!!!

hey, i got a 1991 apple macintosh classic, i got it from my old elemetary school and i remember playing it back then, unfortunately, it's got this perma-lock thing on it that prevents me from deleting, adding, or changing any of the old, useless school related programs, i think my best bet is to wipe the hard drive but you have any tips of what i shoud do?

@masonly2 No, there isn't a HDD, they didn't start putting them in Macintoshes until the Macintosh SE came out. You could get an external HDD at the time...

@MikesiPodHelp101 It boots the OS off of the diskette and then just runs the computer off of the ram.

@MikesiPodHelp101 - Storage in those days were done mostly on floppy discs. You could buy an optional hard drive for the Mac Plus that connected to the SCSI port in back of the Mac. Most hard discs of the day were large in size (dimensionally and weight) but not very large in capacity by today's standards. The standard Apple hard drive was 20 MB large. I had a 45 MB hard drive for the Plus that cost $435. Today you can get a 4GB flash drive for less than $10. Times have changed.

Cool video. Wish I never sold my Macintosh Plus! Thumbs Up!

Cool shit
The Mac Plus has no built in "hard drive". The "drive" is more than likely a "floppy drive" that reads 800k floppy disks.
