  • To all of the irreverent Britney-loving, rap-endentured pooh butts who were not around at that time, this song was a major hash-smoking tune at all the parties I went to when I was in the US Army in Germany in '72. Punks and 'hos these days have not the slightest notion of what constitutes decent music if it was delivered via a well-placed shank!

  • yeah well...i saw them at the whiskey in los angeles first tour, they did the whole album.. i was right in front of the stage. 6 feet away from ginger's bass drum...and eric and jack no more than 10 feet away on each side...the second they came out to play we fired up a joint and i will never ever forget how utterly fantastic and loud and pure the whole show was...we went and paid 3 bucks that night to get in....those WERE the day's oh yes they were/

  • 3 little words....Bruce, Baker, Clapton

  • Justin Bieber ♥

  • I recall seeing Led Zep, Jethro Tull and Santana at the Rose Palace in Pasadena, CA for 4 dollars. Those truly were the days. Sitting at the feet of Robin Trower at the Whiskey watching him play that first album. Watching Pink Floyd at the Hollywood Bowl with spotlights behind the dome creating a false roof listening to Meddle. Having to choose between going to see Otis Redding or The Doors. You could buy a new Gibson Les Paul for $500. Gas was $.25 a gallon and cigaretts were the same a pack.

  • Funny thing Is that I am so used to seeing Clapton with a beard and glasses now that I don't recognize him in these old vids. For a guy whose newer stuff rarely gets radio play he's still got a lot of exposure, wasn't he doing an iPhone commercial recently?

  • That's a swedish made MALMBERG guitar. A very early and rare guitar.. This video was filmed in Stockholm. Mr Malmberg later, in the '70s, built a very popular model that looked a bit like a Yamaha SG.

  • Tele copy!

  • great song and lyrics .. thx for the rare footage. xxx
