  • This is actually a very helpful video man! Not kidding! The explanations are quite clear, I haven't found a clear explanation of that area of the PC on all my 7 years involved in IT!

  • what i just knew is bios is a system firmware and cmos is a battery made up of metal-oxide that contains startup files well is that true?

  • @TechSkillsVideos Excellent tutorial! Clearly spoken, well presented no fluffing and just the facts....please make more for the benefit of people like me :)

  • Lol i update my Bois and my computer broke :D

  • thanks for the info man

  • Most CMOS now are not really CMOS at all anymore. They are typically FLASH EEPROM chips in modern computers that store most of the settings like boot sequence, RAM timings, and passwords like the gentleman above mentioned didn't clear when he removed the battery. The main function of these batteries seems to be to keep the date and time.

  • @ajhrockerboy6 lol doesnt work the same sh1t i fixed now by changing mobo but thanx :D
