Muse - Exogenesis: Symphony Part 1 (Overture) (drum cover)

Hey YouTubers! So I decided to tackle the thirteen-minute, three-part "Exogenesis: Symphony". Thing is, I won't be doing it all in one video since it's a very long song and there's not much drumming going on compared to the total length of the whole track. Having said that, I'm really looking forward to doing parts 2 and 3 as soon as possible.

This first part requires good timing and a good upstroke-downstroke technique to keep that beat going. Also the fills at the end can be quite tricky themselves; the very last one was extremely hard to figure out.

I wanna dedicate this cover to my baby who's in church right now, believe it or not! Ain't she a saint?

His drum skills do not matter what so ever in my opinion. It's what sounds good in a song, if he does a basic 4/4 beat for a song and it sounds great with the music, well that's what every drummers aim should be. Not to add in the fastest, technically mind boggling drum roll, just to impress fellow drummers, that's not what hes in the band for!!!

He uses similar patterns because that pattern works really with the music.
