Sabumnin Jeff Vanoudenhove 4th Dan demonstrates to his student John Skroski Pyong An 3 at the Phippsburg Congregational Church Lyndon Tree Meeting House on April 19th 2008 after a promotional belt test for yellow and green belts.
His posture is so bad, he can barely move. Straignten your back and don't extend your stances so far....Better yet, .....never mind, you wouldn't get it.
I would add that he might want to learn a more explosive technique, that takes of more quickly. If we train with no emphasis on that sudden movement, we will never develop the ability to strike quickly....He certainly does need to develop a more assertive attitude. I would hope he reads these comments and takes them as positive , constructive criticism.
Someone also forgot to teach him how to develop mental intensity. You can tell when someone is actually visualizing the opponent. The Techniques and their nuances almost become completely second nature. This is unsteady and he is conditioning himself to throw his strikes with nothing behind it.

@Broockle If we instruct and do not demonstrate skill, what then are we teaching?
