as far as the title, what do you mean what a waste? A waste would have been putting this murderer in prison for the next 30 years at 50K a year, then on top of that, stupid Liberal California, would try to "rehabilitate" him and he would probably just kill someone again. The guy did us taxpayers a favor.

@UpcomingJedi People don't necessarily want to be 'nice' to 'killers'. A lot of people just see acts like this as what it it, mental illness. Not making excuses for the man, or anyone else that takes anothers life, but things like this are not black and white. Sure this man was sick, but it doesn't make him less of a person.

Why do people want to be as nice and lenient to killers like this ??? Thats why they do not stop, because America empowers them. Then you have the news crews lying that the LAPD caused him to fall....of course.

I think he was hit after the cop saw he`s going down, you can see him preparing then being shot. He wanted to prevent him from completing.
