It irritates him to answer that cocktail party question in every interview ("What fucked you up?")...
The interviewer has never read any of King's prefaces I gather.

Stephen King is a great writer who's worth will only be recognised by the literary tossers one hundred years after he dies. He's the EAP of the last 30 years. No one can argue with his output, quality or ability.
